Join us on the beautiful San Diego waterfront for the Seattle Group Practice Summit. Invest in the growth, balance, and sustainability of your practice. A three-day event (April 23–25) designed exclusively for group practice owners and clinical leaders. This summit will focus on supervising employees effectively, building financial stability, strengthening peer support among practice owners, and more.

Dates: April 23–25, 2026 (9:00am–4:00pm each day)
Location: Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa, San Diego, CA
Capacity: Limited to 35 attendees to keep the event intimate and collaborative
Featured Speaker
We’re thrilled to share that our potential keynote presenter is Eric Ström, JD, PhD — a nationally recognized attorney and mental health counselor who brings deep expertise in ethics, law, and professional practice.
If confirmed, Eric will offer a thought-provoking session on legal and ethical issues relevant to group practice ownership.
Cost & What’s Included
Registration: $700 per person
Includes:
Breakfast and snacks each day
Conference room and meeting spaces
Presenter fees
Continuing education credits (CEs), final number TBD once we have a better sense of registration/attendees/etc
Taxes and event insurance
Please note that the registration fee is an estimate based on projected costs. If our actual expenses come in lower than expected, all attendees will receive a refund for the remaining balance — as happened after our last summit.

Hotel Information
A block of 20 rooms has been reserved at the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa for summit attendees at a discounted rate:
$229/night + $23 resort fee
Total for 4 nights (including taxes): $1,156.68
A direct reservation link will be provided for booking within the WAGPON room block.
Please note: there is no requirement to stay at the Catamaran. Attendees are warmly welcome to arrange their own accommodations nearby to fit personal preferences and budgets. San Diego offers a wide range of options within walking or short driving distance of the venue.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand plans can change, and we aim to be transparent and fair while honoring the commitments required to host this event:
Full refund:
Cancellations made on or before December 31, 2025
Full refund minus transaction fees
50% refund:
Cancellations made January 1 – March 1, 2026
No refunds:
Cancellations made after March 1, 2026, including no-shows
Transfer of registration:
You may transfer your registration to another practice owner from your organization up to April 1, 2026 by emailing jcanterbury@mcscounseling.org with the new attendee’s name and contact info.
Event cancellation or postponement:
If the summit is cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, public health concerns, or venue closures), all registration fees will be refunded in full, minus any non-recoverable transaction fees.
